A little known radical Christian group, Revenge for the Risen, has taken responsibility for a series of bizarre murders in Rome, Italy and Israel. Over the past 3 months, more than 20 non Christian Romans have been thrown into the lion enclosure in Bioparco, formerly known as the Rome Zoo. During the same period, 12 Jews have been crucified in Israel.
In an emailed press release, a spokesperson for Revenge for the Risen stated that the killings were “an eye for an eye”. The email also stated that the ancient Romans used to feed Christians to the lions, hence the grisly method for the killings in Rome. Blaming the Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus, Revenge for the Risen wrote that many more Jews would be crucified in retaliation.
An official in the Israeli government, who asked not to be named, said that Israel would start demolishing Christian churches in response to the killings of its citizens.
